God has given every believer a great work to do, and with that great work comes great opposition. The book of Nehemiah shows us three tactics the enemy uses to pull us away: distraction, discrediting, and deception. Nehemiah responded to each one by staying focused, praying for strength, and testing everything against Scripture. Jesus faced these same tactics and overcame them all, finishing the greatest work of all through His death and resurrection. Because of what He accomplished, we have the power to keep going. The job is not finished, and God has invited us into it. Don’t let the enemy pull you away from what God has called you to do.
