God created sex as a good gift, and He also designed the boundaries within which it works best. His will, as Paul describes in 1 Thessalonians 4, is our sanctification, which means being set apart and shaped more into the image of Christ. Our culture distorts sex in two directions, either elevating it as the ultimate source of fulfillment or treating it as something shameful. Both miss the truth. Sex is a sweet, good gift designed for a covenant marriage between a man and a woman. Walking in God’s design does not mean earning His favor. It means living out what is already ours in Christ. And when we fail, His grace is bigger than our worst moment. The invitation is always to return to the Designer, confess honestly, and trust that He restores.
